Eylon Levy

Translator, writer, speaker, news anchor

About Me

I am a Hebrew-to-English book translator, specialising in non-fiction and in particular books on history, politics, and Judaism. The modern Israeli reality is often poorly understood by outsiders and I am keen to bring the dynamic Israeli conversation, as well as ground-breaking research by Israeli scholars, to international audiences.

I hold a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (first class) from the University of Oxford and an MPhil in International Relations (distinction) from the University of Cambridge. Since moving to Israel from Britain, I have worked as a news anchor for IBA News and i24NEWS.

Fun fact: I am also the co-writer of A Theory of Justice: The Musical, an award-nominated musical about the history of philosophy.

Below is my personal library—some of the over twenty books that I have translated for international audiences. If you are working on a book that you want to publish in English, please get in touch at eylon.aslanlevy@gmail.com.
